“… shortage of food or surplus of snobbery?” — Ratatouille
(Like me), Remy the rat don’t just like food, he loves food. This one ought to be mandatory for all food-nazi. I have already had my second serving.

No not this site, but THIS SITE: Singapore’s first boutique property firm gets POSH’D.

On POSH’D,
“Ever visit other Real Estate websites for inspiration? Ever notice how many of them are VERY similar? We support those of you trying to break the mold and make the real estate sites on the web a better experience for everyone. We’re here to promote you and your fine work, but we also hope that up-and-coming site developers will be able to use Posh’d as a place for inspiration. We want to raise the bar for all Realtors and their sites. Submit your site, and if featured, be proud of your accomplishments! ”
May we have more hollywood-stunts and lush-neighborhoods to boast about.
As the Chief-Urbanite puts it, if we’re not having fun, don’t bother sweating over it.

I’d marry a man only if he has good taste in shoes.
And this makes me wanna be a man, just because.

At that kinda price, it’s a steal.

what are you afraid of regarding the future
people who are thinking only of making money,
they make a dangerous world.
or those who are only thinking about design.
you need conjunction between the two, its very rare but you
need someone who thinks about both, to get the right answer,
to make a better life in the future.

A couple in New York decides to paint their desires and sell them at the market price of the painted items. A painting of an iPhone there cost $649.17. “Buffalo wings” are already sold for $12.70. Good to note that “Sleep” is free.
And omg, they are the guys behind nycgarbage.com (that literally sells garbage in acrylic cubes, in the name or art). I think novelty has it’s limits and painting desires is little over-stretching it.

Angelina Jolie is surreal.
This painting pretty much sums up Tom Junod’s write up on that one woman whom every man wants to be with and every woman wants to be (and wants to be with).
“I place Angelina Jolie in this painting because she’s larger than life and needs several Daliesque pedestals to support her fame.”–BIO, the artist.
ps. that brad pitt’s head is so very apt. laughs.

Spotted in the town of Inakadate in Aomori, claimed to be the works of the local farmers there. I have seen them in the news a couple of weeks back and no they are not photoshop-ed.
They might just inspire the crop-circle brotherhood to be a little bit more creative in their next Roswell-exhibition. See more here.

When high-speed photography meets a hell lot of patience, you get Irene Muller’s series of art photography. The shot above is from the series aptly named ‘MilkMeetsCoffee‘. I love ‘Smoke’ and ‘Water’, oh there’s ‘MilkMeetsMilkshake’ too!

Graphic artist meets product designer; a facade of a grandfather clock printed on a canvas plastered on a sturdy wall. One look and it will be mistaken for the real thing, except that it would probably sound like an alarm clock. I came across similar execution for a chandelier years ago, an image superimposed on a cylindrical canvas. Can’t seem to find an image for that one, this has been done before but yes clever nonetheless!

A game studio in San Francisco had its interior steampunked!
Living in an age where the word boutique has engulfed itself, falling into the death trap of ubiquity, design needs a new noun. I found ‘SteamPunk’ and the revolution is here.
Check this out; it’s delightful, it’s delicious, it’s actually a dell pc.

Now here’s a little altered version on what our Godfather really meant, since Singapore also wants to be a design hub too.

This is what I’ve been up to lately.
To take a poke at the paranoid androids of the real estate scene, UrbaneSpaces , a boutique real estate agency based in Singapore, came up with a its signature service: to blindfold clients on the way (and all the way) to their property viewing. Just because.

The quest to having a picture perfect body has been given a new twist in Tokyo. A Japanese design firm Nendo did a really neat job to those rock climbing walls in fitness centre Illoiha.
It’s high time someone shifts the emphasis on physical beauty to the gym itself, don’t you think?
