‘Body Paint’ by Mehmet Akten

I caught myself waving to a white canvas rather vigorously, it is quite stress-releasing splashing paint by the buckets pixels, without having to think about the after-math.

Amongst revolutionary pieces, Daniel Rozin’s ‘Weave Mirror’ is a kinetic sculpture posing to be well alive and organic. Bracelet-sized cuffs surfaced with shadow gradient rotate intuitively in response to a person’s silhouette when one stands in front of it. I am, however, rather ambivalent about its parallel structure to a Javanese dumpling known as ‘ketupat‘.

It is equally as addictive, if not more.

Granted that some of the works resemble your Windows 3.1 screen saver brought to life size, nonetheless this is an art exhibition highly recommended for sensational value.

This is also one of the exhibitions showcasing contemporary works which you are least likely to respond with ‘I can do that’ - (yea but you didn’t).
No, that was not an original line to boot either.
