Protein Diet, Streaming Music and Pinot Noir

reads “succulent beef burgers filled with gorgonzola cheese filling, finished by hand with parsley and cracked black pepper ready in 30 minutes”

After weeks of pursuing positions which include a home-made video for self introduction, my energy reserved for a Saturday night has been reduced to instant food and streaming music.

But quality shall be minimally compromised.

On being perpetually on a ‘protein diet’, a term in substitution for a being carnivore (loud & proud), I have opted to test out Marks & Spencer gourmet burgers (because Waitrose have yet to have the guts to open its counters in ghetto Brixton). The verdict?

It was actually quite flavorful.

But here is a little tweak:

1. Preset your oven to 260 degree Fahrenheit, or to which ever maximum temperature yours could fire up to
2. Set your last.fm playlist to the Peace Orchestra radio station
3. On average, songs of that genre should last about 6 minutes each
4. Take note that pre-heating your oven should take a maximum of three songs that follow suit i.e. about 19 minutes ++
5. Open the oven to let off some steam for about 1 minute
6. Pop in a SEMI-defrosted piece for one serving or the entire pack for two
7. By then ‘Kruder & Dorfmeister – Speechless’ should be playing
8. In exactly 6 minutes and 45 seconds, you should get back to the oven

My default state of an edible slab of meat is in the pink of medium rare.
For an instant Saturday night, this was quite an achievement.

The combination of a good piece of meat, a wonderful wine and Kruder&Dorfmeister is just irresistable!!!
