Nomadic Living

Some of you might have been told/heard/read,

An attempt to renew my visa at the Greek border has resulted in an exact opposite outcome. It turned out that I have overstayed a single entry visa. Completely unaware of it being a ’single entry’ thus that has made me a less valid citizen (shall refuse to use the term ‘illegal’) ever since my residence permit expired in October.

Yes I am back in Istanbul
No (thank god) I was not deported to Greece
Yes I was nearly deported to a Greek Island called Chios
No I am no longer with the agency
Yes my flight is on Thursday, 18 December 2008, to Luton
Yes I’ll be hunting for a new creative stint in London
(in an agency/studio - help)
No I have yet to have a place to stay/rent

On why I am not half as emotional as I was when I left the city the first time around:

a) If everything would have to work in contradiction, I’ll be one to embrace it. I have found a home that I cannot live in for now, like everything else in Istanbul and of Istanbul, life as it is, is an oxymoron
b) I will be back, periodically

So no, I will not have a farewell party.
